I don't know why , but for the last couple years I have some how ended up picking a theme/ focus for the year.
2008 was an easy one, that was the year of becoming a mom and I focused on just being a new parent.
2009 was the year of photography. I wanted to learn and get better at it and do some photo shoots (I still have a ton to learn)
This year I have decided to focus on being more organized (maybe watching hoarders has inspired this!). I think I am a pretty organized person, but I can do better. So far I think I am doing really good! I went through our hall closet and arranged that, I went through all of Sharlie's clothes and re put them away (I didn't do a very good job the first time) and I am working on our pantry. I am also trying to be more organized about projects I start. I have so many unfinished projects! I am trying to organize my projects and get them all finished up before I start any new ones. Another thing I have started to organized are my recipes. I was beginning to go crazy with how unorganized they were. Seriously loose recipes everywhere! I typed most of them up and posted them to my recipe blog. I am so happy I did this because Beegh and I are going to be traveling a lot this year ( in his fourth yr. he does externships all over the place), so it will be nice to be able to get to my recipes no matter where I am. If you are in need of some new recipes check it out http://randeesrecipies.blogspot.com/
So anyone else have a focus for the year, month, day???
I like your idea of picking one focus. Photography is something I really want to get into but I just haven't yet. Your pictures are beautiful!
